Phone Support

You can call Project Rachel anytime (210-342-4673, 210-342-HOPE) and someone will listen.  We can help you understand that you don’t need to be afraid, that your reactions are normal, and that you can heal.  God never stopped loving you, and He wants you to have peace and joy.  Whether you call about a  contemplated or a past abortion, of your own or of someone else, we will be happy to talk with you and to send you, confidentially, a selection of literature that addresses your concerns.

Priests and Counselors

Project Rachel priests and counselors understand the aftermath of abortion.  They know what you have been going through, and they know how to help.  When you call, we can give you a referral to a priest or counselor.  You can also talk to someone who has been through what you are going through.

Several times a year, we have a one day retreat for people who have been suffering from abortion, their own or someone else’s.  Raphael’s Way is a gentle way to take the basic steps that will enable you to continue your healing, and it is a program that can be a one-day retreat, a weekend, or a weekly support group.

Project Rachel has support groups that also guide a person through the basic steps of recovery.   Meeting once a week for a few weeks, people can share and bond more closely as they together walk the path of God’s healing.

Project Rachel conducts seminars to educate clergy, counselors, and pastoral workers.  We train them to do 1-1 post-abortion ministry, and to see how abortion impacts the lives of the people to whom they minister.

We offer educational resources and programs to groups, churches, and schools.  A Project Rachel speaker is available to give a presentation to your group, at no charge, and we provide literature to callers.  Our links page will connect you with some good web sources of information on abortion’s aftermath.

We offer ministry for the Archdiocese of San Antonio, open to all.  Project Rachel programs, or Project Rachel partner ministry, are offered in San Antonio, New Braunfels, Del Rio, and Rio Grande City (Diocese of Brownsville).  If you would like a ministry team for your area, please call Project Rachel of San Antonio to arrange a training.
